Good news, everyone! After a complete month of uncharacteristic silence, our cubic king has returned in glory!



No announcement of Alpha, but it is a glorious arrangement of 23 screenshots that portray his absence.


"I finally got some time to post updates again, so let's start with some screenshots of newly designed villages including fields and inns!"



I'm going to go ahead and post this immediately, then edit in some highlights. Stay tuned!

Farming - sunflowers, pumpkins, and an unidentified plant are shown; pumpkins recover +100 HP.
Inns - with beds, presumably functional.
Wooden Weapons - a large club fashioned out of a tree branch is seen.
Female Characters - possibly the first time we see distinctly-female characters.

Finally some new screenshots. And they are looking great as well :)
Is it just me, or is this the first time that we are seeing female characters? Might have missed them on previous screenshots, but they look cool :)

First time I'm seeing female characters too. I also see pumpkin and sunflower fields where you apparently can pick up the pumpkins and eat for 100 hp, a wooden club and a big (iron or steel?) hammer, furniture and wells. Night time seem to occur around 22:00 or 10 pm. That's my analysis of the pictures for now.

The "female" character in question looks like just an alternate hairstyle to me. This is pretty much what I expected as far as that went.

What really interested me is something that's not mentioned or shown in Shdw's post at all for some reason: Goblins confirmed as a playable race. The latter end of the screenshots on the blog post all clearly have a Goblin being played. Up until now I thought that Goblins were only going to be enemies.

I am actually hoping for the alpha to be released in early June. That way I can play it the whole vacation, and not have to worry about doing a project.
