Eagle/Bird:
Helpful:
Could grab items in the area and drop them on your head, but you can toggle what you want it to pick up. Like select only items you need for a quest or no enemy weapons. (Area-Looting).
Give you a higher jump when selecting the skill the next time you jump itll be slighty higher, its like a double jump really. Also as it levels (if added) the higher the level the longer it can carry you for. (Animation of bird holding onto your back and flying and then dropping you because it cant hold your weight)
Offense:
A classical claw that can do a small amount of damage.
Defence:
Drops rocks to stun an on the enemy that can stun them, but it has a 20% chance of making contact with the enemy you are attacking. (Stunning)
Other:
Has very low health.
Can fly so not many attacks can reach it.

Lizard/Chameleon:

Helpful:
Increase speed of climbing.
Offense:
Has a damage of 1 from a bite and has a chance of doing poison damage for a certain amount of seconds.
Defence:
Can turn you and it invisible for a certain amount of time. (Depends on level if they are added)
Other:
Has less health than other animals not that its weak.

Wolf:

Helpful:
Can dig up (the currency) and random items.
Can smell enemies from a distance and gives them a small outline. It has a long effect, but the cooldown is about double the amount of time.
Offense:
Can use a basic Claw and bite attack.
Defence:
Scare the enemy making it run away for a certain amount of seconds. (It can howl to scare them away, but the wolf cannot be doing anything to use the howl ability)

Skunk:

Helpful:
Spray an enemy with gas that has a chance to make enemies neutral/flee or blinds them for a certain time..
Offence:
Bite that does a small amount of damage.
Defence:
Blind an enemy for a certain amount of seconds, cooldown could be the same as the amount of time they are stinned for.

Turtle/Tortoise:

Helpful:
Distracts enemies by jumping in the way of their attacks and can shield itself inside it's shell so that the player can successfully do a "strong attack that needs charging etc".
Defence:
Hides inside its shell causing enemies to do minimal damage. The player can pick it up and use it as a temporary shield.
Offence:
Can bite onto an enemy and stick there causing the enemy to move slower than it usually would, you can repeatedly press two buttons to shake it off.
Other:
Slow but good for tanking damage.
Has alot of health.

Squirrel:

Helpful:
Can collect items in the area, just like the Eagle/Bird. (Area-Looting)
Defence:
Can climb and hide up a nearby tree and HP (Health) is recovered 25-50% quicker.
Offence:
Sharp teeth that bite the enemy.
Can also (Whilst in a tree) can throw acorns at a nearby enemy. If an enemy hits the tree if has a chance of the squirrel falling out of it's tree.

Donkey:

Helpful:
Can carry items for you around in a satchel that can be received from the donkey anywhere out of combat. (Area-Looting)
Defence:
More your defense than it's own. If you put a potion inside it's satchel it can use it on you in the middle of combat.
Offence:
If an enemy is really close the donkey can turn around and kick an enemy knocking it back and dealing a far amount of damage, but has quite a long cooldown between each devastating kick the donkey does.

Spider:

Helpful:
Can place webs on walls that can speed up climbing.
Defence:
Shoots a web on the ground, when the enemy walks over is slowed down.
Offence:
If an enemy is really close the spider it can use a special bite that can paralyze, poison, stun or blind the enemy. Each bite has a 25% chance of all the types of attacks, it has a long cooldown and a 80% chance of hitting.
