Hey everyone!

As you know, the Saurian is a randomly generated mob.

Why can't all of the mobs be randomly generated?

Like the Saurian, each mob will have a different look.
Note: There is NO different abilities. The looks are purely for aesthetics.

Take the Lizard Man for example, it looks the same each time. It can have a load of things added to it, so you aren't looking at the same Lizard Man time and time again.

This can add variation to mobs, it's not a re-skin of a mob, but a new look.

Hmm... like the Idea of Guns from borderlands to make 87 Bazillion mob variation.

I agree with what specter said about the boarderlands thing :P

But it might be a lot harder on a computer to have to generate and store all the data for every single mob.

I would assume (not a coder at all) that this would take a rather large amount of time and effort for something that seems a tad trivial. I would rather that the development time required to do this be used to add more content to the game.

Great Idea But I Think Some Bosses Like The Lich Should Be Kept The Same But Dragons Would Look Epic With Different Athstetics

Its Just, For Example You Cant Change EVERY SINGLE Mob, Some Should Look Identical

He has this, yes. Just look on his channel, there's a video with giant turtles, which have some randomly generated aspects to them.

I don't think it was just the Saurians that got randomisation, I think he just used them because they were a good example. Although for sentient/humanoid species, something like the OP would be great.

Yes, but the OP is more suggesting to increase that visually. At the moment, aside from the Saurians, we actually haven't seen randomisation beyond weapons (Therefore my last post was more than likely incorrect), and possibly stats.

I don't think you do, no. But for some reason I get the idea that's it's normal, and people just choose not to do it. I, for one, wouldn't mind it at all.

Neither you seem to have noticed that the 2 saurian(s? I think it can do without an s, like sheep.) that are shown in the video also use different attacks. Well, at least there's one attack variation.

I think it's a good idea but I don't want all of them to have randomly generated parts but it would be
good if some of them did like lizardmen,horses,dogs the rest I think should say the same old cubewold way
