Capes
I searched the suggestions forum and was pretty surprised that I found only one thread that was only PARTLY dedicated to capes.
All true adventurers love and wear capes, non-dependant on wheter they're bad or good. Capes are a must. It's what the player can cover himself with, what gets caught in the wind and flaps in it in a cool way, etc etc.
There isn't much to explain, I think everyone knows what a cape is.
Though, I made a suggestion thread of a Primary (+ Secondary?) color setting, so maybe the cape would be something that goes in with your picked primary (+ secondary?) color setting.

Capes are great in theory, but would probably look messy and silly in-game.
I'd prefer something more like a banner that you can carry, or place upon a wall. =)

Maybe if it's voxel by voxel animated to flap in the wind....

The cape's movement would be a little hard to due to the boxy graphical nature of the game, you'd have to put physics into calculation
if you're going to implement them, it's a total pain the ass.
Minecraft's capes ended up looking HORRIBLE. Just a giant rectangle that was like a piece of frozen tofu that never flapped.

All that strain on your computer for something virtually useless... D:
It would look cool though!
