Close ranged / soldier - A lightning sword/saber.

Wizard/mage/sorcerer - A staff specifically based on lightning and storms.

Archer - Anything that is not just a bow, crossbow or dagger, but has some form of special capability

I think there should be these following classes added:

Warlocks-Dark and evil spells

Paladin-2 handed weapons that do quite a lot of smashes

Rouges-They can do stealth for a certain amount of seconds and other things like daggers

Archers-They have bows,crossbows,spears all that stuff

I honestly thought that some sort of a lance or spear would be implemented by now. Guess not

A crossbow. There simply aren't enough crossbows in games. The only game I can think of right now that has a crossbow in it is Half Life 2. And that fires red-hot metal instead of arrows.

I dislike crossbows. Always prefered regular bows as a rouge/archer class. But I only usually play as archer/rouge if mage/sorcerer is over-powered, under-powered or doesn't exist so it won't affect me until I get bored of my lightning mage xD.

Daggers, spears, crossbows, throwing knives/axes/shurikens, staves, wands, canes, warhammers/mauls, maces and maybe some kind of explosives. Nothing too modern like that laser shooting sword (for some reason I'm seeing Link with the fierce deity mask when I think about it. ). But I don't think you were being completely serious either, Shinx?

I agree, Chakrams would be wonderful. They are little known about, but are so epic. I only know them because I've played Kingdom Hearts before. I think they could possibly be like Axel's(without the fire, probably), where you throw them and they come back to you, sorta like boomerangs. If you don't know what a Chakram is, here's Axel wielding his:

Don't forget the fact that if you press a side button it fires a giant magical bolt at the enemy.

In all seriousness, somthing like a musket or somthing like that, high power, low fire rate and limited ammo. That would work for a archer. Other than that i would like to see some kind of thrown weapons for a thief/assasin style class, somthing like the ninja throwing stars/ knifes, kunia or whatever there called. For a warrior a mourning star, somthing you can swing around and bash peoples rib cages in with.

I'd like to flails, that'd be cool. But @Strader and anyone suggesting guns of some sort, I really don't think it would suit the game. They could almost turn this into an FPS, which I wouldn't really like.
