I just noticed something. See the clouds? They look pretty blocky to me. Either he's changed them, or they were being viewed from pretty far off when they looked smooth-ish in the Clouds and Mountains update. Also, I reeeeally hope hammers are as cool as they are in Monster Hunter.

Yeah didn't he change them in another update? I dunno but the clouds look unnaturally low maybe the area is elevated highish. What's strange is that there is a meter for temperature, humidity, but not for altitude which is probably more relevant

I'm sure he'll make temperature and humidity useful. If he adds weather, they could be used for detecting weather, or possibly detecting upcoming biomes (like once it starts to get a bit higher, you'll know you're going into a desert biome), or even more gamplayish features.

Inns are an excellent addition. For those explorers who don't have time for making a house, just go to a nearby town and spend the night in an inn! Math is fun.

He has said that temperature and humidity determine the type of biome that is there, yes.
