Wrath of the Lamb, a huge expansion pack for The Binding of Isaac (one of last year's best indie games), was released just a few days ago. It adds about 70% more content to the game (100+ new items, 15+ new bosses, 5+ new chapters) and for merely 3 bucks it's definitely worth a purchase if you enjoyed the base game.
The Binding of Isaac (commonly abbreviated BoI) is a twin-stick shooter rougelike reminiscent of Zelda for NES. The depth of the game lies in the fact that EVERYTHING is randomly generated, from room layouts and items to bosses and enemies. BoI features permadeath and a game takes about one hour to one and a half to beat (if you're skilled enough), but because of the aforementioned randomness you can always replay the game and have a completely different run.

So, have any of you tried the base game? Did you like it? I bought the game day one and I love it because it's so easy to pick up yet hard to put down. The risk/reward factor of the game suits me really well and, as I said, you always have reasons to replay the game.

Ehm... a baby running around in his basement fighting mutated and mutilated fetuses ("his brothers and sisters"), trying to escape from his homicidal psychopathic mother isn't disturbing to you?I don't get it what is Disturbing there?....
