I'd like to introduce you to our upcoming indie game code named: Project Blacklight.
I have been doing the spriting and have thought up the game engine.
My code monkey is a member of this community, Aristaeus; he is also one of my close friends, being in my school class.
We have another guy in our school who has been lazy (there's always one of them in a group), and have just been ripping sounds from other games to implement into ours.
We are doing this for a school project currently, and will continue after the project as a hobby.
Programs made specifically to aid in the making of games, for example game maker v7/8 are not used. We are using IDEs (integrated development environment) to compile, notepad ++ to write up the code and a few other image editing software for spriting and for rendering transparency.
The game engine is very close to v0.2 (compilable without errors).
The game engine is private due to the amount of time being put in for it to actually work, we are planning to be able to sell it though (comes with physics and everything, also contains a few unique features).
Here are a couple of sprite draft sheets you can give comments on:
WARNING LARGE FILES
We are currently hiring people for bug testing and people who will review our code (absolute experts please, must also keep everything secret)
Thanks for reading, and I await your comments.
