What is your plan if the world was suddenly infested with flesh eating zombies? I'll post mine when I get back later today, but in the meantime, share yours!

I'm pretty sure that if you prepare zombie flesh you could eat it... I think I'd try that if there was a zombie apocalypse. If it works, I'd go to a nearby store where the army dumps its old gear and whatnot. It has a ridiculous amount of tools and thick clothing.

Think about it like this. Every zombie is rotting flesh, with boils and disease. You are limited to what you have with you where you are. Other people will be fighting for food, clothing, weapons, ect. You need to think carefully, and be realistic.

You would have to disinfect it first. Which I imagine would be very hard and I wouldn't even risk doing.

This is my plan: First off, make a bag.
My items in the bag:
A swiss army knife
As many cans of food can fit
Spare clothes
Painkillers and other medication (first aid kit)
Batteries
Toilet paper (you never know man)
A lighter

My weapons: 29 inch aluminum baseball bat
Some sharp knives
A small hand gun (If I find one)

My plan: Stay away from well populated areas and more or less "raid" abandoned homes and shops. I wouldn't want a group bigger than 10 people, because more than that would get in the way. Once we have found lot's of food and weapons, we would hunker down in a well fortified building till our supplies run out. Then repeat.

It totally depends on what situation I'm in.
If I just happen to be in a military base surrounded by thousands of soldiers, I reckon I could just sit there and rest.
If I happen to be in a super market, I'll scavenge what I can and live in the ducts.
If I happen to be in my house, I'll just reinforce the doors, and hope my internet still works.
If I happen to be in a swimming pool, I could just drink the pool water; can zombies swim? Pool water also contains certain chemicals that
get rid of nasty germs etc... if that gets rid of zombie infections I'll be pretty happy.

I'd like to go guns-a-blazing during the Zombie attack though.
Have fun and die or try to survive with a chance of dieing? Hard choice.

My town is a good place for a Zombie Apocalypse:

- I would take my parents' car to the grocery shop. Take the most amount food I can take, there is a pharmacy and I should take medicine, disinfectants, e.t.c.
- Hope not to get shot when I go to the gun store next to my town.
- Take the quickest way but not pass through populated areas to a gas station and get enough gas until the whole pump runs out.
- Get a group of 5 people (One has to be a hot girl.)
- Shoot any living thing I see that is not anyone close to me.
- Protect my whole family with my life.

My survival terms. Fuck my family, they would slow me down.
If I was in a zombie apocalypse, I would do ANYTHING to survive. (Even though I've always wanted to see what happens after death)

Well first off I'd find out if they're sentient. If they aren't, I'd find if they can die and how to kill them. And then I'd go some place where there aren't many (if any) zombies, and start farming etc.

Epic me-
Break into a gun store and steal all the guns and ammunition. Then mow down every single-brain eating piece of trash and laugh like a mad man covered in zombie blood.

Run around screaming, calling the police, yelling for help, and trying to find a place where I could hide like a baby.

I shall take refuge in my orbital space station. I'll monitor radio frequencies for survivors and if I find any I shall dispatch a robot to bring them to the station. Lasers, hypervelocity projectile launchers and an arsenal of handheld weapons are on board the station. Robots can test for infection and will not bring the zombie virus up to the station. The station is powered by solar energy and has a hydroponics bay for plants and a cloning lab for meat. Up to ten survivors can be brought up. A lab has the equipment needed to engineer a cure to reverse/destroy the zombie virus. Of course, this is in the year 2207.

Well, it really is impossible to see our own brains not working. The best thing we can think of is blackness.

1. Grab baseball bat that I keep right next to my computer at all times for no reason.
2. Check which area's in the world that have been infected to check how much time I have to collect items needed to survive, who knows? An outbreak in new york won't do much to me in Sweden.
3. Travel to the north part of Sweden, the cold will slow the zombies down considerably.
4. Find a good place to construct a safe house, preferably a hospital because they will most likely have emergency generators to keep the power going for a while when no power is provided.
5. Find other capable survivors to cooperate with.
6. Establish a chain of command and make it clear that there will be a zero tolerance policy, anyone who doesn't like it can go and try to survive on their own.
7. Kill anyone who becomes incapable of surviving without constant help.
8. Find a way to hunt for food, t.ex. Fishing, hunt deers, rabbits.
9. Keep a minimum area of 1000 meters zombie free.
10. Survive.

Burning thing's doesn't nearly get rid of all viruses. It does help with things like chicken because and makes it so u don't get semionela(dnno how to spell that), but it won't kill a virus (at least not all). There are however lots of chemicals you can use to purify boiling water you found (again boiling doesn't always do the trick). It is smart to (even if you don't have those chemicals) boil them to at least slightly increase survival chance.

As for my plan, it really depends where I am, and what kind of zombies. If they are slow but persistant I will just go to an unhabited place with 1 house with some family/friends and try to make a living there (food and cattle will be usefull, and get some weapons in the meantime).
But we have NO CLUE how zombies will be created. If it is just the dead braught back to life, and only a desire to eat meat were are all fucked. Why? Simple, there brain still works, so they can be just as smart as us (unless the virus destory's the brain wich I highly doubt). Besides that it will also be just as energetic as us and quick and agile. So it will be like running from an actual human. Except you are with maybe 5 people. And they are with millions. So you won't survive No matter what you do, eventually you run out of food, oxygen, people to help you out, ammo.

However this does NOT mean I wouldn't try to survive. I would be smart about it and respond how the situation demands it. But our chance of surviavl in that case would be low. I wouldn't tell everyone that though, to keep the moral up.

I'd kill anyone who has ever seen 'the first zombie'. Then there wouldn't be a zombie virus. Genious!
