[Shipoopi]

The Architects are going to be hosting a zombie survival event on our server. I'm willing to allow anyone to join in on this event.

Players will spawn in a small courtyard and will be chased out two sides by zombies. On one side is a small snow biome with a couple buildings and on the other is a desert biome with a pyramid. Zombies will be spawned via spawners and admins going around spawning them.
You start with a stone sword and a bow. There will be weapons and arrows in chests that you can find.

For players not in the Architects or allied clans, there will be no prize. But for players in the Architects and allied clans the prize will be in game money for the iconomy plugin and access to the creative world.

When: Unknown, will be determined when we finish the arena.

Rules:
PvP will be disabled
No breaking blocks
Last man standing wins

Time: Today, 5:30 pm PST

Yeah we don't allow members two have to clans/guilds. If the Savages were to become allies with us you would be allowed on our server.

The arena is 99.9% complete! Once we get a proper headcount on how many people will be joining in, we can start on the 0.1% we have left to do!

I second this. There is a small chance that I might not be able to make it to the event, though, as my family is considering a short vacation over the weekend.

I would be up for it, obviously depending on the time of day. I haven't even been on the server before, I'll have to check it out.

The event will probably take place sometime from 6-10pm Pacific Standard Time on July 6. Shipoopi and I both live in Washington state so PST works best in this case, since we are hosting the event. Chances are good that we will hold an encore of the event at another time for those who cannot attend the first one.

The arena is finished, but it's a definite possibility that two extra areas will be added in the future, and we might use your help in that case.

Some suggested themes for the areas include:

Nether
Jungle
Water
Town

If any of you have ideas for new areas to be added in the future, now's the time to speak up!

sure? what time though, and could someone calculate time zones so i might know aproximatly when it might happen? i am in central time right now, it is 4:42 PM.

End

The End is too similar to the Nether in that they are both "dark" kinds of places. Also, the End is bleak and void of any really notable features, while the Nether has castle-like structures, glowstone, and lava flows, which might be interesting to implement in a zombie survival arena.

I think I might be able to work with that. However my involvement with the event while it occurs will vary depending on what time it starts and ends, as I have some summer class homework to do that day. It would be optimal if it started at 8 or 9.

New thought: It might be a good idea to have multiple "rounds" of the event back-to-back. I don't foresee a single round lasting longer than 30-45 minutes.
