Since wollay said originally that they would realese it march/april time, but had to much to do, when do you think it will be realesed, and do you think it will come out in alpha or beta??? Since it looks like wollay has gon out in another ''quiet period'' maybe he is working on getting everything ready? Maybe, Maybe not :P

I think he will probably release it next month because he said in another topic (sorry I couldnt find it, but the guy had a facebook chat with Wol_lay and a screenshot of that chat) and wol_lay said that he only had to do a start menu of the game that lets you access saves from it, he had to work on the website, and he had to do a bit of in game work.

There hasn't been an update for over a month on...
- Wollay's blog
- Wollay's twitter
- Pix_xie's twitter
- Cube world forum

Now perhaps this is my own ignorance, but I can only assume this either means 1 of 2 things:
1) Progress has halted and it may be several months before a new release.
2) It will be released very soon, and Wollay wants the release to be a big deal so he's not giving any more updates until then.

Given that the last "great silence" still saw updates from the site admins here, I would venture to guess that they are aware of Wollay's plans and that's why there hasn't been any news. Of course, this is just my speculation, and the site admins might have said something contrary which proves me utterly wrong. But nonetheless, I think it will be released soon. Either later this month, or next month. Whether it will be a polished "beta" or an official "full" release is still up in the air.

I originally made my guess as August 5th.

But as the days go by and Wollay gives less and less news on the game's progress (correction: no news, for the past month)...well, I had to vote 2013.

I discovered this game just two weeks ago so my guess can't be the best, but it looks like something different is happening. :ph34r: (You know, much less updates)
So I think that it will take about 2 months, maybe 3. But maybe I'm just optimistic..

Aha, Thanks! I thought people meant that Cube World would be released alongside Half Life for some reason. I was a bit confused there because I haven't heard anything of a collaboration between Wollay and Valve. :P

As of August 26th, 2012, it has been nearly 53 days and not a peep has come from Wollay. On any of his sites. Honestly, I think development has temporarily stopped while he works on the website/things not directly related to the gameplay. Lets face it, he has neglected pretty much every other aspect of making a successful game to work on the game itself. He has not marketed it, he does not have a website, a name, anything. It is about time he slowed down and covered the nitty gritty, imo.

I predicted December of 2012 long before it was even announced that it would be released in March of 2012, so I'm going to stick with that. I've always felt he couldn't stick to his word about predicted release.
