I seem to recall hearing that the original Tribes inspired HALO. Although that's more than likely to be speculation.

Also, I'm glad to see so many people like the game. I hadn't played it in ages, and now I've remembered it I can't update it without capping my internet. My name is Prosaurus on there (No 'Rex'), if anyone wants to add me.

Yes, that's one of the downsides to the game. Check the system requirements, though. On the lowest settings you might be fine.

Alright guys.
Gave it a go... and it is pretty damn good for a free to play game ^{(that has a premium currency)}
I have yet to see ONE camper, honestly, it's nearly impossible to camp in this game, every player in your FOV is tagged, enemy or not.
I'd give this game a juicy 8/10

The good part about the premium currency is that it's not actually required, it only speeds things up. The only things that require purchase with real-world money are skins, and you don't even see yourself since it's an FPS.
