About Me

Hello and welcome to my About Me page.

I, here, am Antarus. I'm a 15 year old boy who has one 18 year old brother, a mother, two dogs and a cat.

I frequent these forums, although I can have times of little posting/way too much posting. If you haven't seen me yet, you're new here. I currently have the 2nd highest post count, beaten only by Zailiner who has way too many posts.

I like to game, watch the occasional anime or other TV show, and also occasionally read manga. Books are a thing I basically only read for school.

I tend to binge on whatever I'm watching/playing/reading. I'll play a game for a week straight, multiple hours every day, and then completely ignore the game. If I find an anime I like, I'll watch all of it in one sitting, given there's enough time in the day. If I read a book, I'll read it until it's done, and when I read manga I go through it quickly.

My skills include.. ehm.. I'm usually good at school, unless school wants me to actually do something. I'm a very lazy person. I am also capable of making stuff like signatures and avatars, not to say I'm extremely good at it. My physical condition is amazing if you take into account that I loaf around all day and the only real exercise I get is gym class, as well as having terrible eating habits. I can cook semi-decently, or at least I like to think so. I'm usually the only one who eats my food, and I usually like it. That's all I can really say about that.

Physics is my specialty in school, grading extremely high with no effort at all. On the other side of the spectrum is French, which by itself is nearly making me fail this grade. That's really just because I'm really, really lazy, though. When I put effort into such things, good things tend to happen.

I wonder how much I'll have changed next time I feel like changing this.

Vocaloid!

03 April 2013 - 12:46 PM

So I recently discovered that I like a whole lot of Vocaloid stuff. Since then (about a week and a half ago, I think) I've been collecting songs in a playlist. My current playlist is 3 hours and 15 minutes long with exactly 50 videos. Here's some of my favorites. I've added them with title, and not the full name of the character. I have another 9 songs to add to this list, but the Youtube embedding stopped working, so I'll add those whenever I can (AKA my next post here).

My current favorite Vocaloid is Gumi. My current favorite song is emphasized in this thread. This is in rough chronological order (of when I found the songs), because my playlist is, too.

Ten-Faced - Gumi

Sorry For Being a Closet Otaku - Gumi

Here's a link to the full playlist, including the songs that I wouldn't call 'favorite', but still like: http://www.youtube.c...CF0hTjFzHd6-mLM

*Originally an Utau song, but this version is sung by a real person

My next schoolyear.

12 February 2013 - 09:54 PM

So, next year is my 4th year at my high school. It's the first year I'll be able to have chosen (a lot) of my subjects.

The way this works (in my part of the school system) is that I have a choice of 4 profiles. Each profile requires some different things, and your profile determines largely what you will be able to study later. (I'm in the highest level of school, so it is rightly assumed that pretty much everyone will go to university or such after high school)

The profiles range from mostly cultural to mostly scientific. I'm definitely choosing the most scientific one. With this, aside from the standard, I have a choice of biology or the highest level of math available for pre-math degree. I'm choosing math.

Now my question, and the point of this thread is: I have to choose one extra subject, and I'm not sure what I should choose. I have 2 main preferences: Economics or history. Does anyone have any opinion on what I should choose? The end choice will of course be mine, but I'd like to get as many outside opinions as I can before choosing.

So what do you think, history or economics?

Yes, I'm serious. These are hacks of games which are/have been sold in a shopping center in Nairobi, Kenya.
